What is there to do in Aruba*?

“It’s hard to find a more beautiful vacation destination than the Southern Caribbean, and on our cruises to Aruba, you’re the star of that perfect snapshot. Splash and play your way across this sparkling corner of the Caribbean, or simply relax on a sun-baked beach on one of Carnival’s cruises to Aruba. The locals call it the “happy island,” and they prove it — Aruba cheerily welcomes visitors to picture-perfect strips of beach, swaths of exotic blooms, and some of the Caribbean’s top shopping and nightlife locales. Celebrate the year-round Caribbean spirit, or simply unwind to the island’s bewitching and relaxing tempo. It’s easy to find your own tropical beat when you cruise Aruba-style.” ~ Carnival

What is there to do in Bonaire*?

“Bonaire is an island nation in the Southern Caribbean that was twice “discovered” — once by the Spanish and once by the Dutch — and was until recently part of the Netherlands Antilles. Its far-flung history may be all over the map… but you’ll find the island itself located just right. Also just right is the climate — the annual average is 81.5° F — so you’ll have plenty of reasons to spend time outdoors. When in the water, diving and snorkeling happen to be some of the best ways to see the reef surrounding the island… but they’re also great for cooling off.” ~ Carnival

What is there to do in Curaçao*?

“Cruises to Curaçao take you into the exciting pulse of the Southern Caribbean. Curaçao is where Europe meets the West Indies, and it collides here beautifully in a smashing blend of bold colors and cosmopolitan culture. The largest of what was once the Netherlands Antilles, this Caribbean island has it all. Cruise to Curaçao for the beautiful beaches and historic architecture, but don’t miss everything from the splashy sights of marine parks to the distinctive local liqueur — it all awaits on cruises to Curaçao. Above all, what awaits you is the warm, welcoming embrace you’ll start to feel the minute you set sail to Curaçao.” ~ Carnival

Cruise Ship LINK: Carnival Horizon | Cruise Ships | Carnival Cruise Line

PLEASE NOTE: The Carnival Horizon has Havana Cabins ~ Staying in the Havana cabins aboard the Carnival Horizon may not be cheap, but boy-oh-boy is it nice. The aft-facing area consists of an outdoor bar, pool, two hot tubs and a variety of comfortable seating options. What makes this area special is the fact that during the daytime, the Havana Retreat is available exclusively to those who book staterooms in the Havana area. What this exclusive access means is no fighting for a lounge chair, no lines at the bar and no children hogging the pools, as all occupants of the Havana staterooms must be at least 12 years old which means, by extension, that those are the youngest guests you’ll find in the Havana Retreat. Havana Passengers will be given a branded silicone wristband which grants them access to the area during the day. They’ll also find Havana pool towels in their stateroom that are tan instead of blue to help identify them as belonging to Havana passengers. A crew member is posted outside the entrance to the area to turn away anyone who is not a Havana guest.

SAMPLE of cetificate only – NOT the Course that will be offered onboard.

EARN your Continuing Education Units (CEUs)while cruising!

Wessex Global University (WGUni.com – over 8,000 happy learners) are coming aboard to offer you the opportunity of earning up to TWO CEUs while cruising. WGUni has been offering CEUs on cruise ships since 1999 – worldwide. You not only get a great experience with amazing instructors, but an experience to meet some great people and earn your CEUs.

You have a choice of earning ONE or TWO CEUs. WGUni is offering a special for this cruise – they usually charge $250 per unit. For this cruise they are offering you to purchase ONE CEU for $149 and for both $240. Some of the learning can be completed online before you cruise. You can cruise without taking classes. EMAIL: Dr_LJ@WGUni.com for additional information or if you have questions. WGUni also teaches a variety of courses online, and for businesses and corporations in person.

What are CEUs? A CEU is a unit of credit equal to 10 hours of participation in a program designed for professionals with certificates or licenses to practice various professions. Doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers, CPAs, real estate agents, financial advisers, and other professionals are required to participate in continuing education programs for a certain number of hours every year in order to keep their certificates, or licenses to practice, current. The annual number of CEUs required varies by state and profession.

Many individuals are in jobs that don’t require they earn CEUs, but they choose to take continuing education courses to learn something new or to give themselves a competitive edge at work for a desired raise or promotion, to upskill (increase their skills).

Taking a class in person is a great option for an immersive learning experience that still offers some personalization. Taking a class still provides networking opportunities too.

Email me at maureenlj@cruiseplanners.com for more details and to get a quote for your specific needs OR EMAIL Dr. Maureen Lloyd-James for CEU information: EMAIL: Dr_LJ@WGUni.com
